Terms of service

These terms form the agreement between you and INEYA Studio (“we”, “us”) for your use of LOKAL. By using the service or subscribing to a plan, you accept them. If you are using LOKAL on behalf of a brokerage or a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

1. What LOKAL is

LOKAL turns public housing-market data into a finished, ready-to-post market update for a given place and month. It is an information and drafting tool for real estate professionals.

What LOKAL is not. It is not investment advice, not a financial recommendation, not an appraisal, not a comparative market analysis for a specific property, and not a substitute for your MLS. Figures are aggregated from public data and can lag, be revised, or be thin for a small market. Verify against your MLS before publishing anything to clients. You remain responsible for what you publish and for complying with your MLS rules, your brokerage policy, NAR and state advertising rules, and fair housing law.

2. Your licence to what you generate

The market updates you generate are yours to use commercially: post them, email them, put them in a newsletter, hand them to clients, put your own branding on them. This licence is worldwide, perpetual and survives the end of your subscription for the updates generated while it was active.

One condition: keep the data attribution that LOKAL includes. The city figures come from Zillow Research, ZIP figures from the Redfin Data Center, and the credit must stay legible on what you publish.

3. Your account and your licence key

A paid plan gives you a licence key. It is personal to you or to your brokerage seat. Do not share it publicly, resell it, or use it to run a service for third parties. We may suspend a key used on a scale that plainly exceeds a single professional's use, after telling you and giving you a chance to explain.

4. Plans, prices and billing

Plans and prices in force are the ones displayed on the site at the moment you subscribe. Prices are stated exclusive of any tax that may apply; applicable taxes are added at checkout.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
We may change prices for future periods. You will be told at least 30 days ahead, and the change never applies to a period you have already paid for. If you do not want the new price, cancel before renewal.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal, or by emailing hello@ineya.studio. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your access runs to the end of the period you have paid for. There is nothing to negotiate and no retention call.

6. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Acceptable use

Do not resell, redistribute or sublicense the underlying market data as data, or build a competing dataset from it.
Do not scrape the site, hit the API automatically at abnormal volume, or circumvent the licence check.
Do not present LOKAL's output as an appraisal, a CMA, or advice from a licensed financial adviser.
Do not use the service unlawfully, including in any way that breaches fair housing law.

8. Availability

We aim to keep LOKAL available and the data fresh, and we monitor it, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, an upstream data source changing, or a failure at our hosting provider can interrupt it. The service is provided as is, without warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost listings, lost commission or reputational harm. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using LOKAL at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached in a way that is material and not cured after we ask, or if we are required to by law. If we end your subscription without cause, we refund the unused part of the period.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Substantive changes are announced by email to subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the version in force. Continuing to use the service after that date means accepting the new version.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. We will try to settle any dispute amicably first: write to hello@ineya.studio. Failing that, the courts of the district of INEYA Studio's registered office have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, and you can use the European online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
